Roblox displays the time spent on each experience, but finding this data requires knowing where to look. Between account settings, built-in phone tools, and parental controls, several avenues exist. They do not all provide the same information.
Roblox Play Time by Experience: Where to Find the Weekly Count
Have you noticed that no global counter appears on your Roblox profile? The platform does not offer a cumulative total of hours since the account was created. It works differently.

The native tracking of Roblox can be found in the account settings, under the section Screen Time Management. This section, rolled out since the fall of 2024, displays a graph representing an average time over seven days. It also shows the main experiences used during the week.
To access it on mobile, you need to select “More” at the bottom right, then “Settings” (the gear icon), and finally “Parental Controls.” On a computer, it’s the gear icon at the top right that leads to the same settings. The “Screen Time” section appears with a “Manage” button next to the graph.

This dashboard has a clear limitation: it only covers the current week. It is impossible to go back over several months or to view a complete history. To deepen this tracking, you can see the playtime on Roblox on Index Site, which details the step-by-step procedure for each device.

Tracking Roblox Time on iPhone and Android Without Opening the App
The tracking integrated into Roblox remains limited to seven days. The phone tools, on the other hand, keep a longer history and work in the background without any manipulation in the game.
Screen Time on iPhone and iPad
On iOS, the “Screen Time” feature (in Settings) displays the time spent on each app, day by day and week by week. Roblox appears like any other app in the list. You can go back over several weeks to observe the trend.
This tracking counts all the time the app is active in the foreground. It does not distinguish between the different experiences played within Roblox. If your child switches between three games in one session, iOS displays a single block of total time.
Digital Wellbeing on Android
On Android, the equivalent feature is called “Digital Wellbeing” (or “Bien-être numérique” on some models). It can be found in the phone settings. The principle is the same: a weekly dashboard that lists the time spent per app.
Some manufacturers add additional options. Samsung, for example, offers an extended weekly history that allows you to reconstruct the time spent on Roblox over several weeks, or even several months. Xiaomi provides a similar view through its own “Screen Time” interface.
What These Tools Do Not Do
- They do not detail time by Roblox experience (Adopt Me, Blox Fruits, etc.): only the total time in the app appears
- They do not synchronize data between devices. If you play on a phone and a PC, each device counts separately
- They do not allow you to retrieve a history prior to the activation of tracking. If the feature was disabled, past data does not exist
Roblox Parental Control: Set a Daily Playtime Limit
Knowing your playtime is one thing. Limiting it is another. Roblox has integrated a daily cap system directly into the parental controls, and it works across all platforms simultaneously.
The parent must first link their own Roblox account to the child’s. Once this link is created, the “Screen Time” section allows you to set a maximum playtime per day. When the limit is reached, the child sees a message indicating that Roblox is no longer accessible for the rest of the day.
This limit applies to the account, not the device. Whether the child logs in on a phone, tablet, or computer, the global counter runs. This is a clear advantage over Apple or Google tools, which only track the device on which they are configured.

Combining Tools for Comprehensive Time Tracking on Roblox
No single method covers all needs. The Roblox dashboard provides details by experience over seven days. The phone tools offer a longer history but without granularity. Parental controls add the ability to set limits.
The most reliable approach combines two sources:
- iOS or Android tracking to measure the total time spent in the app each week
- The “Screen Time” section of Roblox to identify which experiences consume the most time
- Roblox parental controls if a daily cap needs to be applied, with a limit valid across all devices
This combination allows you to answer two distinct questions: how much time in total, and on which games specifically. Device tracking and account tracking complement each other without replacing one another.
One last point to keep in mind: Roblox still does not offer a cumulative counter since the account was created. If you are looking for your total hours over several years, this data does not exist natively on the platform. The tools described here allow you to track the present and recent weeks, but not to reconstruct a complete history.
